Save energy around your home with REPS
We’re committed to helping Australians save energy and reduce the size of their energy bills. Through the South Australian Government’s Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme (REPS), you could reduce your home’s energy consumption and save money.
As a REPS recipient, together with our REPS partners, Trades Services SA and Ecovantage, we’ll help eligible customers reduce their energy consumption by replacing some inefficient devices and appliances with higher energy star replacements.

REPS one-off payment of $33
Customers who aren’t a Priority Group Household must pay a once-off REPS fee of $33 per site. This will be registered as paid with the Essential Services Commission of SA (ESCOSA), so that, if you have further activity done under REPS at the same premises, there is no need to pay an additional $33 REPS fee.
What is a Priority Group Household?
Priority Group Households are those where a person in the household has or is one of the following:
- Pension Concession Card
- Health Care Card, including low-income health care cards
- TPI or War Widows Gold Repatriation Health Card
- Gold Repatriation Health Card (EDA)
- Actively participating in an energy retailer hardship or energy concession program
- Receiving the South Australian Government Energy Concession
- Is in a rental property where the weekly rental is not more than $400 per week
- Has been referred by a registered member of the South Australian Financial Counsellors Association (SAFCA).
REPS eligibility for government-owned residential premises
Government-owned public or community residential premises may be eligible for some REPS activities, though REPS hot water upgrades are excluded. Landlord permission is required before installation.
